TRAINING
·
thinking
of offering a training, presentation or a workshop on grief and
loss-related matters?
·
curious
about the new grief and loss research in the past decade and how it may
impact you or your clients?
·
identified
a need for staff support, stress relief or preventing compassion fatigue?
I
can help you or your clients with a fresh perspective, some new tools, or
just an infusion of excitement and encouragement!
I
am a board certified clinical social worker and a nationally certified
grief therapist with an extensive background in grief and loss work.
I
have a wealth of experience in counseling individuals, couples and groups
and have run dozens of support groups, workshops and trainings over the
years. As a national/international workshop presenter, occasional guest on
cable TV, and a consultant, clinical supervisor and/or board member of
several local agencies, I bring a combination of theory-based professional
development and hands-on experience.
I
am a member of the National Association for Death Education and Counseling
(ADEC) and Chair of the ADEC Chapter Relations Committee and I have
developed a bereavement program for the Archdiocese of
Washington
If
you would like to arrange training, a workshop or a presentation,
please
contact
me to discuss the approach that would be most helpful to
your
agency
or workplace. I can be reached by mail, phone, and email
or
