Praise
for "Sound Accord"
"A great CD, very relaxing... all
beautiful... my only complaint is that it is too short. I need twice
the length to relieve my stress. Have listened to your CD many times
and I do think it is a very "healing" one. Think you could make
several more? ... it helps relieve the afternoon traffic and my road
rage! ... wonderful, it sure took the edge off a rather crazy
day..." |

Tibetan
singing bowls |

Tibetan
Singing Bowls are handcrafted by Buddhist Monks. Their origin is
believed to be from the ancient alchemists. They are comprised of
seven metals: gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin, and lead.
Each bowl is unique in size and frequency.Together these metals
produce a profound sound which penetrates into the body and mind,
creating subtle healing.
Carol is disciplined in the use of
indigenous sound/music as an alternative modality. The singing bowls
are an effective element of her work as a sound practitioner. The
bowls have a remarkable effect on brain waves, respiratory rate,
relieving pain, stress reduction and other applications. Carol has
used them in hospice, hospitals, workshops and with individuals.
