Welcome to GriefWorks. We are here to provide workshops, training and support for your agency, faith community or workplace.

We offer national and international training as well as local support.

GriefWorks has many years of practice experience in public and private settings and can help you to develop a new program or enhance and existing one.

Our workshops are creative and interactive and cover a wide range of topics related to life issues surrounding change and losses of all kinds.

We are a continuing education provider in South Carolina.

GriefWorks was founded in 1995 by Celia Ryan as a response to the need for specialized grief and loss counseling, information and education.

In the last decade there has been an explosion of new and exciting research in the death and
dying field, research that supports and explains what we really experience when there is a significant life-changing event in our lives.

We believe no one should have to go through difficult times alone - we are here with compassionate understanding and the tools and resources to help your agency, faith community or workplace along the journey of grief.
